Discovering fly fishing in 2019, Atlantic salmon fishing became an instant obsession for Dennis. What began as frequenting a couple local rivers soon spiraled into traveling the entire province of Newfoundland and Labrador in search of salmon. Shortly after, in 2021, Dennis began to experiment with tying his own flies, and found that fly tying was almost as therapeutic as fishing itself. One of the most rewarding experiences for Dennis was catching fish on his own flies. Even more rewarding was seeing someone else catch fish on a fly that he had given them. Shortly after the commercial tying bug caught hold, and it has been one of the most satisfying experiences in his life. In a few short years, Dennis has developed a solid reputation for his quality work. Not only does he produce quality flies, he produces flies that catch fish!
