Partridge V1SS Waddington Shank – Stainless Steel / Up-Eye

The Partridge V1SS Waddington Shank is a traditional double-shank fly-tying platform designed for creating Waddington flies, stinger patterns and articulated salmon and steelhead flies. Its double-shank construction provides a strong, versatile foundation for building longer-bodied flies while allowing the finished pattern to be paired with a separate hook.

Featuring an up-eye, the V1SS is ideal for traditional Waddington-style flies as well as modern salmon and steelhead patterns. Using a separate hook allows fly tyers to select the appropriate hook size and style for the finished fly while keeping the body and hook independent.

The Partridge Waddington Shank can be matched with an appropriately sized treble hook or Partridge Stinger hook, making it a versatile option for salmon, steelhead and other large migratory fish patterns.

Available in a broad range of lengths, the V1SS gives fly tyers the flexibility to build everything from compact patterns on a 10mm shank to substantially longer flies using the 55mm version.
